It was stupor, chaos. I’m thinking of setting up a psychological unit. Parents call me to tell me that their children have had nightmares, haven’t slept. I encourage victims to go to the police station to file a complaint against the people who committed the violence.

Anthony Mézière, president of the Redon club, also reacted in the columns of Ouest-France where he questioned a provocative banner of Bains-sur-Oust supporters while ensuring that his club was not at the origin of this fight. He nevertheless condemns the scenes of violence: “These are not people from the FCAV but from outside. We were present at the entrance to the stadium to make sure that no one posed a problem. But it was a Regional 1 match, between two clubs who know each other. It is not normal that we have to call on stewards at this level. A banner exhibited during the derby, had shocked. It was written, white on black: “Your dream? Our fervor! Our wish? You finish (sic).” I want to understand what happened so it doesn’t happen again. »
