a day of artistic, cultural and sporting events

Early risers had plenty of time to train in Pilates with Samuel Jéhenne. Cindy Dehosse discovered the benefits of yoga for some. Stretching was the domain of Charlène Magence and the Archers de Pons unveiled archery techniques, while Philippe Duteuil introduced the site by encouraging running.

Demonstrations

Throughout the day, the public strolled among the stands of the village of discoveries, such as Jephan De Villiers’ land art workshop which allowed children to create works of art with various objects found on the site or in nature. Lise Mas from the Center for Aquaculture, Fisheries and the Environment of Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Capena) introduced fish from the estuary to her workshop. Thanks to a handful of clay, Laetitia Rochette offered a modeling workshop. The association If Saint-Fort was told to me held a stand where visitors had the opportunity to try calligraphy or bookbinding, but also to get to know the reading of tales. Catherine Mathieu unveiled all the secrets of ceramics and the Tibetan bowls were presented by Mr. Porlier.

The afternoon was devoted more to the ephemeral arts with artistic creations based on works from the École des arts de Haute Saintonge, with a street orchestra and a harpist (Emmanuel Lahosse), the ESCA Danse (Entente sportive et of the canton of Archiac) with Anne-Damienne Houpert and the Studio Danse Jonzac with Charlène Magnence, who gave demonstrations.
