5. Marc Klok
Marc Klok has officially become an Indonesian citizen since 2020. He has won five caps for the Indonesian national team so far, scoring two goals.
Most recently, the Persib Bandung midfielder contributed to the 3-2 win over Curacao on the FIFA Matchday September 2022. From there, it was seen that Marc Klok would be Shin Tae-yong’s mainstay in the 2022 AFF Cup later.
4. Stefano Lilipaly
Stefano Lilipaly has been defending the Indonesian national team for a long time. He has played in 27 games for Garuda scoring three goals.
This season, Stefano Lilipaly has shown his glory with Borneo FC. From 18 appearances in all competitions, the 32-year-old has scored five goals and six assists.
3. Shayne Pattynama
Shayne Pattynama is still in the process of naturalization to become an Indonesian citizen. So far, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has written to the Indonesian House of Representatives to take care of the naturalization process for the Dutch-blooded player.
Shayne Pattynama is a left-back who plays for the Norwegian team Viking FK. Throughout this season, he has played 25 times in all competitions by creating an assist.
2. Sandy Walsh
Sandy Walsh is a right-back who plays for the Belgian top flight team, KV Mechelen. The 27-year-old has played in 14 games in all competitions for his club, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Just like Sandy Walsh, Jordi Amat is just waiting for the time to become an Indonesian citizen. The naturalization process is now just waiting to be sworn in after it was approved by the Indonesian House of Representatives last September.
He has a flashy CV because he has played for top European clubs before. The 30-year-old centre-back played for Swansea from 2013 to 2017.
Jordi Amat, who has a Spanish passport, has also played in the Spanish top flight with Real Betis, Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol. Currently, he is defending the team from Malaysia, Johor Darul Ta’zim.
