FROM 6 TO 13 OCTOBER, THE FRENCH JUDO TEAM COMPETE IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TASHKENT (UZBEKISTAN). FIND ALL THE RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION

JOUR 1 :

Shirine Boukli (-48kg): 3rd round

After a victory in less than a minute for her first fight, Shirine Boukli (-48kg) lost in the 3rd round against Abiba Abuzhakynova (KAZ).

Romain Valadier-Picard (-60kg): 2nd round

In the first round, Romain Valadier-Picard (-60kg) won by ippon on juji gatame after a magnificent work on the ground. In the next fight, the ACBB judoka was beaten on penalties by Tornike Tsjakadoea (NED).

Cédric Revol (-60kg): 2nd round

In a fight of more than 8 minutes, Cédric Revol (-60kg) was eliminated for his entry into the running by hansoku make.

JOUR 2 :

Amandine Buchard (-52kg): Bronze medalist

Amandine Buchard (-52kg) won her first fight by waza-ari-awasete-ippon. Our Olympic vice-champion then won against the Spaniard Lopez Sheriff on a magnificent ippon, then against Larissa Pimenta (BRA) in the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, our French faced Uta Abe (JPN) for a remake of the Tokyo Olympics final. Returning after being led by a waza-ari, Amandine Buchard lost in the golden score. In fight for the place of 3, Humanity won against Khorloodoi Bishrelt (MGL).

Amandine thus wins her third medal in the world championships and opens the counter for our French team.

Walide Khyar (-66kg): 3ème tour

Walide Khyar won his first fight in the golden score by hansoku make. He then qualified in the 3rd round following the withdrawal of his opponent. After an intense fight which ended in a golden score, our Frenchman was eliminated by the 8th in the world Baruch Shmailov (ISR).
