The Chinese judo team sent a total of 11 athletes to participate in individual events, namely men’s 73kg class Qing Daga, men’s over 100kg class Li Ruixuan; women’s 48kg class Guo Zongying, Liu Ting, women’s 52kg class Liu Liping, Liu Ben, women’s 57 class Cai Qi in the kilogram class, Tang Jing in the women’s 63kg class, Ma Zhenzhao in the women’s 78kg class, Xu Shiyan and Su Xin in the women’s 78kg class and above.
In the end, Guo Zongying and Liu Ting stopped in the second round, Liu Liping and Liu Ben stopped in the second and third rounds, Cai Qi stopped in the first round, Tang Jing stopped in the second round, Xu Shiyan and Su Xin stopped in the first and second rounds, Qing Daga stopped in the second round, and Li Ruixuan stopped in the second round.
In the individual events of the Judo World Championships, the top three medals are Japan with 5 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes, Brazil with 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze, and Uzbekistan with 2 golds.
After the individual competition, the team competition of this World Judo Championships kicked off. The Chinese Judo team faced the IJF refugee team in the first round. The team competition lasted for one day, and a total of 17 teams participated in the competition.
