12 podiums for Aragón in the Pre-State North Zone of table tennis

Lhe Stadium Casablanca facilities have hosted this weekend the first test of the two that is made up of the North Zone Pre-State, where after four marathon game sessions, from 4:00 p.m. on Friday to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, and with more than 285 people participating.

The players from Aragón have obtained two first places, both in the veterans category, where Javier Rey, from Publimax CAI Santiago, has prevailed in the +50 veterans category, while Eduardo Ruiz (CN Helios) has done so in the veterans category +60, category where José Luis Aragón (Publimax CAI Santiago) has also climbed to the third drawer of the podium.

The runners-up, three in total, have been in the male youth category, where Alejandro Vivó (School Zaragoza) qualified in second position and his teammate Mauricio la Rosa, was third.

The female U21 Maite Maza (CN Helios), got a great second place, a place that was also done by her clubmate Víctor Dobato in the Veterans +40 category.

And up to seven third places got the Aragonese and Aragonese. To those already mentioned, we must add the youngest heliophile Víctor Dobato, the youngster from the TM Monzón, Eric Pereira and also the youngster from the TM Binéfar 77, Luzía Gil, as well as the youngster from School Zaragoza, Álvaro Gimeno and Santiago Martínez, who achieved the bronze in the test for people with physical disabilities.

All these markers, with the score obtained in this test, already have a good chance of qualifying for the State Tournament organized by the Royal Spanish Federation, where the 48 best players from all categories meet.

A new organizational challenge achieved with outstanding marks for the Aragonese Federation, which with its constant daily work is promoting Aragonese table tennis to be among the most active on the state scene and promoting and consolidating this sport in Aragon.
