Women’s tennis: the new albiceleste generation shines in Misiones

After theW25 tournaments played in Tucuman at the beginning of the season, during this week the contest will take place W15 women’s tennis in Missions. This is the first time this year that this kind of competition is held in the country.

These are the first-tier professional women’s championships. That is, those that allow opportunities for new players to enter the international circuit. For this reason, it is key that these initiatives exist in Argentinasince they favor a generation with talent, but which needs logistical support. Present and future in Misiones

The contest, which is played this week and is already in the quarterfinals, brings together various promises of national women’s tennis. Among them stands out Solana Sierra.

The player, with an outstanding junior career, is already in the top 500 in the professional ranking. At only 18 years old, she won two W15 tournaments in Mexico on hard court.
