Where to see Women’s Champions League women’s Sparta Prague-Rome

It’s time for the final sprint for the preliminaries of UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Roma women she is called to face the first of the two races that will decide the fate of her path in the competition.

On stage in the Czech Republic, Roma will be a guest of the Sparta Prague for the first leg of the last preliminary round that separates one of the two teams from the prestigious group stage.

The Giallorossi will come to the match eager to redeem a “lying” defeat in the league against Juventus Womenwhere the team from the capital has created a lot but has not been able to realize the various scoring chances.

In any case, the team coached by Alessandro Spugna has shown once again that it has visibly grown compared to the past season and the first experiences in the Champions League have confirmed the new depth of the staff.

The two challenges that made up the first preliminary round saw Roma overtake more experienced opponents in the European field, with convincing and tenacious performances.

Sparta Prague, however, will reveal a new difficulty coefficient for the Giallorossi team which will therefore have to remain faithful to their game but become more cynical at the doorto try to keep up with the home team.

The Czech team has in fact started the national championship in the best way, collecting four consecutive victories and positioning itself in first place in the standings next to Slavia Prague. Four goals out of four games for the American striker Amber Tripp.

Roma for its part will face the challenge with a squad in defensive emergency. Still missing Elena Linari, not fully recovered from the injury, the Giallorossi will also have to do without Lucia Di Guglielmo, stopped in the first minutes of the championship match against Juventus. They therefore appear among the summons of Alessandro Spugna Nina Kajzba and newcomer Zara Kramzar.

The first leg of the second round of the Women’s Champions League between Sparta Prague-AS Roma Women will be staged Wednesday 21 September at 18:30 (Italian time). The match will be streamed live on the platform DAZN but also for free on social network of Rome.
