Victory against Bosnia – The DBB stars in the individual review

The German basketball team secured their second win in their second European Championship game against Bosnia. Above all, a young star inspires.

After their opening win against France, the German national basketball team was also able to prevail against Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the end it was 92:82 for the team around Captain Dennis Schröder.

However, the DBB selection had to fight. At half time they were still 42:47 behind. However, thanks to a significant increase in performance in the second half, they managed to turn things around.

“The home EM is the advantage. The fans carried us. We probably wouldn’t have made it without them,” said Captain Schröder after the hard-fought game, which was characterized by many nickels.

“It’s awesome. It makes you want to play here. The fans are incredible,” said Johannes Thiemann, who was once again a valuable player, after the success. Starting weak can happen. “It’s all the more important to come back like this and play like that in the second half,” Thiemann continued.
