The captain of the National Senior Basketball Team, Victor Lizis back in the district basketball Dominican after an absence of six years, his last participation in the TBS of the District was in 2016 reinforcing the San Carlos club.
In his first presentation of the season he only scored ten points and was below in field goal percentage.
“We are a team, in the first game we did not know each other at all, we only had one practice together,” Liz commented when questioned in the official broadcast of the event after Sunday’s game.
Liz vindicated herself in a good way in her second match in this tournament scoring 33 points and commanding the offense of the Bamesians who are leading group A, with a 2-0 mark.
“It’s a great feeling to be back in district basketball,” said Liz.
The Santiago basket player was crowned champion in the district tournament in 2011 wearing the Club’s uniform Bameso and sharing the court with the newly hired as regional reinforcement, Edward Santana.
“Edward is a tremendous player, with a highly respected career across the country, coming together after ten years and a championship, it feels like a different feeling,” Liz added of having Santana.
