Vibo, registrations for the Fiamme Oro are open

On June 1, 2002, the youth section of the Fiamme Oro was inaugurated in the presence of the Chief of Police and Director General of Public Security, Lamberto Giannini, at the Vibo Valentia School of Agents. Since yesterday, registrations have been open for courses for the disciplines of weightlifting and judo. Registration is open to all girls and boys in the area who want to practice using the teachings of qualified instructors belonging to the State Police.

Coordinator of the Judo instructors will be the master Vincenzo Failla, 7th dan black belt, national manager of Fijlkam, one of the most titled masters at national level. The Weightlifting Instructor is the Assistant Chief of the State Police Moreno Boer, Olympic weightlifting coach, multiple medalists in national and international competitions.

It is certainly a great opportunity for Vibonese girls and boys, who will be able to play a high-level sporting activity in a healthy environment. Families can be sure to put their children in good hands; hands that will be able to guide them in a path of sport and legality education, without forgetting that the Fiamme Oro sports group is the most medalized Italian sports group in international competitions. It is no coincidence that the inauguration ceremony of the Vibo Valentia section was attended by the exceptional testimonials Maria Centracchio, bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2022 Olympics, and Mirco Scarantino, who took part in the London Olympics in 2012 and Rio in 2016, bronze medal in the 2018 world championship, several times European and Italian champion, both belonging to the State Police and registered in the Fiamme Oro.
