Utebo celebrates its I Sports Fair and takes physical activity to the streets

Between this Friday and next September 30, Utebo hosts an eclectic and extensive program for the celebration of the European Week of Sport, an initiative promoted by the European Commission with the aim of combating a sedentary lifestyle. The event is held simultaneously in all the member countries of the European Union and other states from the rest of the continent that have been joining since 2015.

Within its program, the celebration, this Sunday, of the I Utebo Sports Fair stands out with its own light. It is an initiative of the Sports area of ​​the City Hall of the Zaragoza municipality in which 24 local sports clubs collaborate and which, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will take sport to the streets to show everyone who comes to the Plaza de la Constitución, the Santa Ana Park and the courtyard of CEIP Miguel Ángel Artazos, all the physical activity and sports that Utebo has for children, adults and the elderly.

The Fair will also offer the possibility of playing sports thanks to two free activities (a route with poles for fans of Nordic walking and a functional training ‘masterclass’ for all ages), as well as diverse entertainment, such as an inflatable water volleyball court, a dartboard contest and a photocall, among others.
