The one from Bizkarreta “must continue with physiotherapy treatment and sports rest” despite the fact that eleven days have passed since his injury in Ordizia

Every time Unai Laso remembers that damn move in Ordizia he gets angry and rightly so. The manomanista champion causes loss in a San Mateo that starts this Sunday since he continues with discomfort. The latest medical tests do not indicate a muscle injury as such, but the Bizkarreta striker’s sensations are not good and he cannot wear white at the last great fair of the summer. Thus, it will be Peña II who accompanies Albisu in the two commitments –minimum– that Laso had at Adarraga in Logroño.

Baiko’s brief statement issued this afternoon indicates that Unai Laso “must continue with physiotherapy treatment and sports rest in his recovery process.” The Navarrese, who does not have a muscle rupture after undergoing more than three different tests, was injured last Wednesday at Beti Alai in Ordizia. Laso slipped at 12-16 when he went to respond to a Jaka hook. There was a badly dried spilled drink on the counter-pitch that caused Laso to do a split, damaging his left hip as his body leaned forward. He finished the game, although with an obvious limp, which ultimately has prevented him from playing several games. His presence at Cuatro y Medio, scheduled for the beginning of October, does not seem to be in danger, although he should rediscover good feelings that he does not have today. Peña II will debut on Wednesday with Albisu against the loser of Ezkurdia-Rezusta and Jaka-Mariezkurrena II.

Darío, before his people

La Riojan ball needs a pelotari like Darío, from home and who can make the respectable enjoy himself at Adarraga. San Mateo begins tomorrow with the first match of group A with an attractive match between Urrutikoetxea-Imaz against Darío-Zabaleta (5:00 p.m.). The Riojan, new to the fair, will be backed by Zabaleta, champion last year along with Víctor. The one from Ezcaray wants to take advantage of the opportunity that Aspe has given him.
