Starting the second period with the baskets of Sertaç Şanlı and Cedi Osman, the National Team increased the lead to 10 points (29-19) in the 12th minute. Afterwards, Georgia, who could not evaluate his attacks as he wanted and had a lot of turnovers, caught a 14-0 series against the crescent-star team, and took the lead 33-29 in the 19th minute. While the National Team produced only 8 points in this period, Georgia was ahead 36-33 in the locker room.
While the first part of the second half was the scene of mutual baskets, the 25th minute continued with the superiority of Georgia 43-41. Georgia, which was effective with McFadden, Shermadini and Andronikashvili, was ahead 53-49 in the last period against the National Team, which could not find a rhythm in offense and had difficulties in defense from time to time.
Starting the fourth period with baskets by Alperen Şengün, Melih Mahmutoğlu and Furkan Korkmaz, the National Team made the score 55-55 in the 33rd minute. Later, in the contentious match, which continued with mutual baskets and where the teams had difficulty in gaining an advantage over each other, the last minute was drawn 66-66.
