Two big challenges for the Venezuelan baseball team

There are only two games left on the schedule for the Venezuela U15 baseball team in this World Cup, but just around the corner are two extremely important commitments before the end of the year.

Venezuela have only missed one World Cup date in 2021 and that was the U18 category tournament. Now in sight is these kids’ World Cup, who will be looking to be in the international event again.

The U18 World Cup is set to take place the first week of November in Mexico. Venezuela will try to return to the World Cup in this category during this event.

Meanwhile, Venezuela’s U23 baseball team will have a big challenge ahead of them this year, defending the world champion crown won in the 2020 contest held in 2021 due to the pandemic.

The defense of the crown will take place in Chinese Taipei, it is scheduled for mid-October, which will be its fourth edition of this sport category in WBSC.

The stakes are clear for the selection of Baseball from Venezuela, in the case of the U18 category, the first thing is to return to the World Cup, then to seek the opportunity to play for medals. In the case of U23 players, defending the world crown won in the 2020 edition to continue adding victories, trophies, medals and WBSC ranking points for Venezuela.
