The group and rivals of Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team to compete in the Women’s Federation Cup have been announced.
The match schedule of the Women’s Federation Cup has been announced, just days before the start of the 2022-2023 season of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League. Accordingly, the rivals of the Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team, which will compete in Group B, in the Women’s Federation Cup were Urla Municipality, Çeşme Basketball, Ferhatoğlu Edremit Municipality Gürespor.
Turgutlu Belediyespor team will play their first match on Tuesday, September 13, with Urla Municipality, and the second match on Wednesday, September 14 with Çeşme Basketball. Turgutlu Municipality Women’s Basketball Team will face Ferhatoğlu Edremit Belediye Gürespor on Thursday, September 15 in the last game of the Women’s Federation Cup.
Turgutlu Belediyespor President and Turgutlu Deputy Mayor Fırat Honaz said, “As a result of the draw made by the Turkish Basketball Federation, our competitors in the Women’s Federation Cup have been determined. The matches we will play shortly before the start of TKBL will be a great chance to see our situation and our shortcomings before the league.
