In a very close match, Trasandino and General Velásquez equalized goalless at the Municipal de Los Andes. The locals approached at 10′, but goalkeeper Obregón reacted remarkably and sent the ball to the corner kick. The visitors reacted at 19′ with a shot from Villablanca and at 25′ with a shot from Troncoso, which went close to the goal defended by Ortega. The game was back and forth, so Trasandino responded at 28′ through Arancibia, who with a shot on goal disturbed the team led by César Bustamante.
In the complement, General Velásquez had the clearest opportunity to score. At 58′, Alegría hit the goal with his left foot and the ball crashed into the crossbar. Four minutes later, the visitors were able to unbalance with a free kick from Tobar and a subsequent chance from Serrano, who failed to score after the goalkeeper’s rebound.
The picture of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua was complicated when Jorge Pavez was expelled at 76′. Trasandino tried to get closer to the winning goal by being with one more player during the final stretch, but they did not succeed. Thus, everything ended tied 0-0 in Los Andes.
