They arrested two leaders and five Columbus bars after the threats received by the campus

Two leaders of Columbus of Santa Fe y five barrabravas were arrested in the raids ordered by the Justice of the province in the framework of the investigation by the threats that a group of violent fans made to the campus last Tuesday at the club’s premises, judicial spokesmen reported.

One of the detainees is the third vice president of the sabalero, Horacio Darras, who last Friday had spontaneously appeared at the Prosecutor’s Office, after being identified as one of those who had been talking with the gangs on the June 4 property. The Public Ministry of the Accusation (MPA) reported that the seven people arrested were arrested in eleven raids registered in the capital of the province and one in the neighboring city of Saint tome.

This is an investigation headed by the Special Prosecution Unit for Complex Crimes “for different illegal acts related to factions of the fans of Club Atlético Colón”, including the visit of between twenty and thirty members of the bar “The usual ones” at the June 4 venue, where the squad trained.

In the episode that is now being investigated by the justice system and in the context of which these seven arrests were made, the bars violently demanded greater commitment from the players with the club, shirts and money, according to police spokesmen.

In this sense, the MPA reported that in some of the homes raided in the framework of the file in the early hours of today “drugs and cash seized”. “What do they expect me to do, to go away, to take a little road on the side and disappear, what would they be saying in that case?”, he added Horacio Darras. In this context, he added: “The players saw me, they know how I acted. I was also seen by the other people who were at the training at the time. My goal at all times was to stop them. After appearing spontaneously last Friday before the Prosecutor’s Office, the now detained vice president of the club had told the press that his conversation with the bars was part of an attempt because “drop their attitude and leave”.
