Coach Julian Nagelsmann comes under criticism at Bayern after the weak start of the Bundesliga season. The Munich bosses are said to be dissatisfied with his public image. And that’s not all.

Munich – There was a Munich team that was the leader at the start of the Wiesn. But: This did not come from the Säbener Street. The club is based a few hundred meters away in the Giesing district. We are talking about TSV 1860 Munich, the city rival of the big one FC Bayern. The “Lions” were standing last Saturday morning (September 17) after a 3:1 against Erzgebirge Aue in the 3rd league in first placewhile the “Reds” in the Soccer Bundesliga looking for their form after four games without a win.

FC Bayern: German record champions are in crisis in the Bundesliga

In the meantime, the furious climber SV Elversberg has caught up with the Sechzger again. Yet: Malice and mockery of FC Bayern should be big in some Giesinger Boazn, while the big neighbor is only fifth after seven match days. According to the current status, that would not even be for them Champions-League pass. It’s still quite early in the season and the city rival is two classes down. Still shrill when German Bundesliga record champions the alarm bells.

The well-known trade magazine also presented this Kicker in a rather ruthless analysis of the Bavarian wobblers. A post in which the Coach Julian Nagelsmann anything but good fare. “After the 0:1 at the latest, the atmosphere on Säbener Straße is simmering. And atmospheric disturbances have never been good,” explains FCB reporter Georg Holzner in a video on the sports magazine’s website. He says critically: “The great coaches in FC Bayern’s past didn’t take themselves more seriously than they are.” A clear pointer in the direction of the current Bayern coach? The widely well-connected Kicker at least puts forward the thesis: “Julian Nagelsmann’s public image displeases the bosses.”

Julian Nagelsmann’s public image displeases the bosses.

FC Bayern: Coach Julian Nagelsmann criticized after Bundesliga results

The board of directors around CEO Oliver Kahn and the supervisory board around honorary president Uli Hoeneß should notice one thing negatively in particular: “What is viewed critically are public appearances, sometimes the lack of self-criticism from the coach when he transfers a lot to the players and in the case lets out. There are often unfortunate portrayals, self-presentations, which the players of course all perceive very clearly,” explains Holzner of his assessment of the situation.

The only 35-year-old coach is said to have taken the criticism after poor performance. The sports journalist even doubts “the authority” of Nagelsmann, “which is at the FC Bayern needs to have the players behind you”.

For the sake of fairness, the analysis also criticized the lack of a killer instinct and the attitude of the team. Furthermore, during the international break at Säbener, the topic of strikers will be discussed in detail, the report goes on to say. After all, new signing Sadio Mané has only scored one goal in the past seven competitive games. And that was in the 5-0 win in the DFB Cup against third division team Viktoria Köln.

Julian Nagelsmann: Only three wins from the last ten Bundesliga games with FC Bayern

The fact is, however, that the pressure on Nagelsmann, who incidentally began his coaching career in the U17s of TSV 1860, is increasing significantly after four games without a win in the league and only three wins from ten Bundesliga games across the season. It’s the worst start to the season for FC Bayern for 20 years. The young coach will need results, otherwise the mechanisms customary in the industry are not far away in Munich either. (pm)
