Angelo Savino passed away a few hours ago, an unforgettable figure in Capitanata’s basketball. Angelo, from Foggia DOC, was for a long time president of the Italian Basketball Federation Provincial Committee of Foggia and also Regional Councilor of Federbasket, a role that I am honored to have covered myself a few years later.
He was appreciated as a club manager and a great basketball fan. For decades he has frequented the sports halls of the province, in particular the Russo and the Preziuso, following a basketball that today unfortunately does not exist anymore.
In my personal name, who for almost ten years I was Vice President of FIP Foggia, of Pasquale dell’Aquila, for almost 20 years President of FIP Foggia and his great friend, of Davide Colucci, for ten years Vice President and CP FIP Foggia and of Nino Bruno, former referee and today a talented journalist, the most sincere condolences to the family. We remember you, dear Angelo, with much affection.
