The badminton club is doing well with 130 members, including 60 young people aged 6 to 17. All playing with different motivations and goals. There are beginners, recreational and competitive, some going all the way up to the regional level. Stéphane Julia, vice-president, appreciates that the transmission is done by young people: Clovis, Dylan, Romain and Thomas train beginners, under the leadership of trainer Frédéric Monnier.
The season restarts with a youth tournament on November 5 and 6, a leisure tournament in December and an official senior tournament on May 13 and 14.
New for this new school year: the club offers the second Sunday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., “the bad for all”. With or without a license, everyone can come and play badminton, an opportunity to discover this sport and have fun.
