The documentary ‘Invincibles under the hoop’ premieres this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the RUCAB assembly hall in Badajoz. ANDIt is based on the book ‘History of 50 years of basketball in Badajoz‘ and will feature the testimony of the most outstanding figures of this discipline in the capital of Badajoz during the 60s and 70s, where historical milestones were achieved and in which they managed to defeat teams that enjoyed greater resources and budget than those from Badajoz.
The production has been carried out by Comboz and is promoted by the CB Foundation and by the BCB, the club that today is considered heir to those teams that appear in the projection that were changing their name. Admission will be free until full capacity.
Some players who belonged to this generation such as Juan Cuevas, Antonio Béjar, José Clavero or Pepe Ramos, as well as their coach Gonzalo Roblesappear within a wide range of protagonists who recount first-hand how a modest club made history in both the men’s and women’s categories and dealing with what those years of basketball were like in the capital of Badajoz.
