the Red Devils without Dedryck Boyata or Jason Denayer to challenge the Netherlands

Dedryck Boyata will not play a single match during this international window. The central defender, who arrived at Club Brugge this summer, is forfeited to challenge the Netherlands on Sunday (8:45 p.m.) during the 6th and last day of Group A4 of the Nations League, confirmed Roberto Martinez on Saturday at a press conference. Jason Denayer, summoned by the Catalan but without a club, is also not available for this flat country derby.

For his part, Louis van Gaal will have to do without Memphis Depay, Frenkie de Jong and Teun Koopmeiners, injured against Poland. The coach of the Oranje therefore called in reinforcements midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and striker Brian Brobbey, who played Friday with the hopes, against Belgium.

“These absences do not change anything for us. It remains an international match between two teams that have many players,” Martinez told the national football center on Saturday.

If they want to reach the Final Four, the Red Devils will have to win the ArenA Amsterdam with at least a three-goal difference.
