In the second half, Austria pushed to pocket the three points but neither Sabitzer (61st) nor Gregoritsch (65th) found the opening. And what had to happen happened. On a cross from Perisic, Livaja was ahead of Wöber to deceive the Austrian goalkeeper at the near post (1-2, 69th). Carried by this goal, the Croats flew away a few moments later on a new achievement signed Lovren (1-3, 72nd). With this convincing victory, Croatia finished at the top of their group and validated their ticket for the Final Four. Austria ranks fourth.

The Netherlands subdue the Red Devils, Turkey end in a worrying defeat!

Gala poster, also, at the Johan Cruyff ArenA in Amsterdam where the Netherlands, ideally positioned to reach the Final Four, received Belgium from Eden Hazard. Despite a tantalizing opposition on paper, the two selections could not come apart during the first act. A stop all the more important as in the minutes that followed, the Dutch were finally going to take the lead. After a first save from Courtois, van Dijk took advantage of a corner from Gakpo to place a header and deceive the vigilance of the Madrid goalkeeper (1-0, 73rd). In front of the score, the Netherlands kept this slight advantage to definitively validate their place in the next Final Four. Belgium, led by Thierry Henry for the occasion, finished in second place in group 4. In this same group, Poland moved to the lawn of Cardiff to challenge Wales. After a relatively balanced first act, Robert Lewandowski’s teammates finally snatched victory thanks to Karol Swiderski (0-1, 57th). In the other matches of this evening, Turkey, for its part, validated its ticket for League B despite its defeat against the Faroe Islands (1-2). Finally, Luxembourg took the best against Lithuania (1-0).
