Extraordinary general assembly meeting of Bellona Kayseri Basketball Club, one of the Women’s Basketball Super League teams, was held. At the general assembly held at Kadir Has Congress and Sports Hall, the name of the club was changed to ‘Melikgazi Kayseri Basketball’.

While the financial table of the 2021-2022 season was discussed at the meeting, it was announced that the total debt of the club was 4 million 503 thousand 392 liras. Club president Yakup Yüksel, in his speech at the general assembly, said that they will put their short and long term plans into practice. Yüksel stated that they are a national and international team and that they have established an experienced technical team with some changes this year. Emphasizing that the club has no debts apart from tax and SSI premiums, Yüksel noted that they aim to pay off their debts in a short time.

In the election held at the general assembly, where the management and supervisory boards were released separately, the board of directors headed by Yakup Yüksel consisted of İbrahim Somtaş, Sinan Karaoğlu, Serhat Sarıalp, Furkan Ergüneş, Tuğran Akdağ, Hasan Öztoprak, Serhat Solak, Nadire Erdoğan Arık and İbrahim Bozdağ. .
