“the most messy first period ever known”, annoys Luis Enrique

Spain lost at home against Switzerland (1-2) and leaves the first place of the group to Portugal.

Luis Enrique (coach of Spain, beaten 2-1 by Switzerland on Saturday evening in Zaragoza for the 5th day of the League of Nations, in a post-match press conference):

«Defeat always hurts, but you also have to take into account the opponent, who put us in a lot of trouble, who pressed us very well. We had the most messy first period I have ever known since the start of my coaching career. We conceded two goals from a corner, the first was well defended, the second could have been defended better… The second period was a little better, but we have to attack the depth with more precision. I believe that since the beginning of my coaching career, I do not remember having seen such imprecise players».
