The inclusive sport championships ‘Todos Comunidad’ are held this weekend in Las Rozas

Las Rosas will be, from this afternoon and throughout the weekend, one of the venues for the championships of deportation adapted and inclusive ‘Todos Comunidad’, an initiative of the Regional government which aims to “extend the practice of sports to people with disabilities and which is being held for the third time in the municipality“.

In collaboration with the Madrid federations, ‘Todos Comunidad’ aims to normalize joint training dynamics between people with and without disabilities, and become a reference tournament at the national level, according to the deputy minister of sportsAlberto Tomé, during the presentation ceremony.

‘Todos Comunidad’ will have the presence of athletes from 18 disciplines, such as chess, athletics, basketball, cycling, judo, karate, swimming, paddle tennis, canoeing and tennis of table, among others, has detailed the City Council of Las Rozas in a statement.

Coinciding with the European Week of Sports, more than 700 athletes with and without disabilities will meet at the Navalcarbón sports center facilities, on this occasion sharing the program of competitions with the Canal de Isabel II and Mundial-86 centres, both in the city ​​of Madrid.

“From this Government team we continue to bet on inclusive sport in our municipality. A commitment that is present in our municipal sports schools, clubs and competitions, and that is now made more visible thanks to this Parainclusive championship in which Las Rozas always has actively participated by hosting its first two editions and being one of the venues for this third edition”, said the councilor of Las Rozas, Jose de la Uz.
