Four judokas from the Doryoku club in Salamanca have achieved the Judo Black Belt. The Judo Federation of Castilla y León convened the exams in Valladolid for the entire autonomous community and Doryoku attended with four athletes and their respective ukes (partner needed to take the exam).

The Judo Black Belt exam is made up of several parts: fundamentals, standing and ground technique, and Kata (fundamental forms of Judo). In order to pass the exam, you must complete all parts correctly. In the court there are three National Judo Masters who are the ones who evaluate the candidates.

The judokas who received this degree were Hector Rodriguez Galache, Martin Rodriguez Romero, Sergio Martin Ruano and Sonia San Isidro Grande.

All of them had far exceeded the brown belt permanence time and performed a good exam, exposing their special techniques, the Nage No Kata, the fundamentals,… as well as all the techniques of the program with the invaluable collaboration of Carlos Gonzalez Marcos and Alvaro Alonso. In the Judo Black Belt exam, the uke is very important, since he is the person who performs all the falls and these are highly valued in this type of test.

Added to this news was the fact that several judokas from the Doryoku club have obtained the title of arbitration in the exams carried out before the summer.

The judokas in getting it have been the following: as sports organization officers, Alejandro Martin Martin, Carlos Eguiluz Hernandez, Carlos Gonzalez Blanco, Hector Rodriguez Galache, Victor Gonzalez Martin and Victor Martin Malmierca; as judges-referees, Alvaro Montes Ocete, Carlos Gonzalez Blanco and Victor Gonzalez Martin.
