In Sulniac, the Apple Festival is about to celebrate its 24th edition, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October.
On the program on Saturday, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.: a fest-noz in the Alice-Milliat room with the groups Korriganed, Trio forj, Duo Couriaut and Lotout (€7).
On Sunday, an apple parade will begin at 10 a.m. from rue des Montagnards. At 12 p.m., a catering in the village hall is planned. (Adult rate: €13; children: €7).
In the afternoon, make way for entertainment in the gardens of Altenbruch and at the P’tite Pom (childhood home): old crafts, music, archery, make-up, mallet, mini-farm. But also demonstrations: granite sculpture, cider carousel, miniature thresher, pottery. Exhibitions will also be held with models and paintings.
And of course, fest-deiz: Fariell and Ça Ribote, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Alice-Milliat room. New in 2022: sea shanties from the Bateliers de Célac, Balézocirque, Bagad d’Elven. Competition: Best apple cake: deposit of cakes at the competition stand from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., tasting at 4 p.m., results and prize giving at 5 p.m. / Longest Pluche de Pomme: contest from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., jury at 4.30 p.m. and results and award ceremony at 5 p.m./Unusual photos
