The Los Angeles Lakers are ready to wash their image in the 2022-23 NBA season, but this does not mean that they do not have a plan for the future with the signing of 4 stars who can lead the team along with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
A league executive told Heavy Sports that the Lakers plan to sign Kyrie Irving, Jerami Grant, Myles Turner and Andrew Wiggins next summer, armoring the team with the best on the market.
“It doesn’t matter what the Lakers have done this summer or what they’re doing to rebuild the team. They’re looking at adding Irving, but he won’t be the only star. Jerami Grant and Myles Turner have also been in talks with the team for a while. time and Wiggins will be another target,” said the Heavy Sports portal.

A few weeks ago Jovan Buha, of The Athletic, assured that the Lakers continue to be Irving’s preferred destination, despite having exercised his player option with the Brooklyn Nets for 36.5 million dollars. As a free agent the negotiations should come to fruition.
“Kyrie wants to go to the Lakers and LeBron is pushing for that to happen. Jeanie Buss’s last tweet I think has to do with this. She will call the shots and there must be some friction right now between LeBron and the rest of the front office. We’ll see what happens,” Buha said at the time.
