The performance of the Badminton Senigallia athletes was very good: here are all the results of the home athletes
On 27 and 28 August the 3rd edition of our badminton and parabadminton tournament at the Palapanzini of Senigallia which saw the presence of numerous athletes from all over Italy and in particular from Sicily and Sardinia.
In preparation for the tournament, a training camp was also held in the three previous days in which they participated 30 athletes from the Chiari and Lecco sports clubs, in addition to our athletes.
On the day of Saturday they disputed all doubles matchesmen’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles in all categories under 13, under 15, under 17, juniors, senior, master 35 and master 55.
Also on Saturday the SL3 category parathlete in the single and double and at the end they were awarded by the Vice President of CIP Marche Roberto Novelli.
Sunday the greatest attention was paid to singular of all categories with high-level matches that saw the athletes fight to the last flywheel.
The performance of the Badminton Senigallia athletes who obtained these results was very good: Jenny Passerini 3 in the single senior female, 2 in the double senior female paired with Charlotte Fredholm and 2 in the senior mixed doubles paired with Paolo Milani of Badminton Lecco. 3rd place for our local couple Ionel Bordei e Michele Bucari in the senior men’s doubles.
3 place in the senior mixed doubles for Ionel Bordei e Nadia Summer of Badminton Bressanone, highest podium for Elettra Zampini in the junior women’s single and 2nd place in the junior mixed doubles with Giuseppe Monchiero of Alba Shuttle Badminton. Gold still for Clara Fredholm ed Elettra Zampini in the junior women’s doubles.
3rd place in the junior men’s doubles for Filippo Giampaoli e Biagio Pierno of the Marabadminton Academy of Cagliari.
Finally debut in the single female master 35 category and bronze medal for ours Vilma Gazulli.
The awards ceremony on Sunday saw the pleasant participation of the President of CONI Marche Fabio Luna and the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Senigallia Riccardo Pizzi.
