Tennis: Serena Williams – legend with small flaws

No player has been more successful in the Open Era (since 1968). In doing so, she surpassed Steffi Graf, the previous record holder in the Open Era, with a win. However, she could not reach Graf’s Grand Slam, which she even expanded into a Golden Slam by winning the Olympic gold medal at the 1988 Games in Seoul. She won four Grand Slams in a row twice, but not in one calendar year. In the tennis world, this success is now dubbed the Serena Slam.
