Our National Basketball Team faced France in the last 16 rounds of the FIBA 2022 European Championship. The Nationals, who finished second in Group A, took the field without Shane Larkin against France, the 3rd in Group B.
After spending the first half quite badly, 12 Giant Men, who started the second half of the match officially like a storm, came back to the match by 15 points and became a partner again. Our nationals could not make it to the end of the last period, which passed with great excitement. In the game that went to overtime, we couldn’t stop the longs of the French, and we left the field with a score of 87-86 and said goodbye to the EuroBasket.
Nationals; Buğrahan Tuncer finished the game with 22 points, Furkan Korkmaz 18, Sertaç Şanlı 12 and Cedi Osman 11 points. For France, Rudy Gobert scored 20 points.
