Stupelis puts an end to his career

Stupelis published a post on “Instagram” in which the athlete highlighted all his achievements in his 21-year career. “Give me one more reason to keep going,” the athlete added in the post.

The 40-year-old Latvian singer is a four-time world champion. He won the first two titles in 2003 and 2004 with the Dutchman Daniela Willemsen, and the other two in 2015 and 2019 with the Dutchman Etienne Bax.

He also became the vice-champion five times, twice with the legendary Latvian Kristeras Sergis, and three times with Baksa.

Stupelis finished this World Motocross Championship together with the Estonian rider Gerta Gordejeva in the eighth position, winning the fifth place in the last stage.

It is expected that Stupelis will participate in the Nations Cup this season on September 24 and 25, where, representing Estonia, he will start together with Gordeev.
