From August 23rd to 28th, the Shenzhen Children’s Baseball Championship and Ice Hockey Championship were held one after another. The participating teams from each district were high-spirited. From August 22 to 26, the Shenzhen Children’s Baseball Championship was successfully held at Qiaoxiang Baseball Stadium, Overseas Chinese Town High School Baseball Stadium, and Zhongshan Park Baseball Stadium. The event is sponsored by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and the Municipal Education Bureau, undertaken by the Shenzhen Mass Sports Promotion Center (Shenzhen Amateur Sports School), the Municipal Baseball Association, co-organized by the Shenzhen Leaders Club, and given to the event by the Shenzhen Sports Lottery Management Center Great support.
In this event, 16 teams from seven districts of Futian, Nanshan, Luohu, Baoan, Longhua, Guangming and Yantian participated enthusiastically. They were divided into three age groups: U15, U12 and U10. The ice hockey championship was successfully held at Shenzhen Kunlun Hongxing Ice Sports Center from August 27th to 28th. The competition attracted a total of 169 athletes from the five districts of Futian, Nanshan, Longgang, Baoan and Guangming. The event was hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and the Municipal Education Bureau, undertaken by the Shenzhen Mass Sports Promotion Center (Shenzhen Amateur Sports School), co-organized by Shenzhen Kunlun Hongxing Ice Hockey Club, and the Shenzhen Sports Lottery Management Center gave strong support to the event.
This year, the successful hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics has further set off a wave of ice and snow sports across the country. Affected by this promotion, the Shenzhen Series Children’s Championships set up ice hockey competitions for the first time. At the same time, this year’s Provincial Games also set ice hockey as an official event for the first time.
Athletes of each team fought tenaciously in the “cold” ice rink, and finally Futian District won the U15 championship; Longgang District won the U12 championship; Nanshan District won the U10 championship and the team’s total score. A good grade.
