Shaq reacts immediately to the Ime Udoka affair and upsets the fans!

Passed by the Celtics at the end of his career, Shaquille O’Neal has therefore carefully followed the scandal that has shaken the franchise in recent days. Invited to speak on the Ime Udoka case, the former pivot delivered an unprecedented… and unexpected speech!

Although there is no good timing for the birth of such a controversy, the fact that it appears less than a month from the start of the season does nothing to reassure Boston fans. Only a few days before their training camp, the Celtics have chosen to suspend their coach, Ime Udoka. A decision caused by the controversial actions of the coach with a staff member of the team.

The details surrounding this soap opera are revealed day after day, and unsurprisingly make the headlines of the American press. For their part, all analysts and other US TV consultants give their opinion on the subject, sometimes even going so far as to teaser heavy. All, except one, and not the least, who simply preferred to withdraw from this conversation for which he would not be qualified.

Himself unfaithful, Shaquille O’Neal spares Ime Udoka

In the latest episode of his Big Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal has indeed refused to give his point of view on the saga which agitates the C’s, and for a reason which he seems to regret at the highest point:

I’m not going to take sides in this discussion, since I was a serial cheat myself. It would be crazy and blasphemous of me to talk about that. I can’t.

I know these people personally. I know the hardship of what they endure, because I endured it myself. I just wish some people weren’t involved. I have known Nia Long for a very long time and I appreciate her… They are going through a lot of family issues.

Close to Udoka’s wife, Shaq therefore does not wish to display his private life in the public square, and even less by having made the same mistakes in the past.

Instead, he preferred to return to his own adulteries, many according to him, and the terrible impact they could have had on his life away from the prosecution:

I’m not the right person to use my platform and pretend to talk about this. I did the same. I was even the best at it, and I’m not proud of it at all. I lost my family doing it. I lost many important years of my children’s youth because of this. So I’m not the right person to speak in this case.

Without of course congratulating the antics of Diesel, still as condemnable as they were when they were carried out, hats off for daring to indulge in this way, and knowing how to take such a step back from the situation.

Accused of infidelity, Ime Udoka will therefore not receive criticism from Shaquille O’Neal, who is guilty of the same errors. On the other hand, the mythical big man seems to regret that Nia Long, whom he obviously knows well, is struck by this story.
