Badminton: Classes at the Riom Badminton Club have resumed at Aimé Césaire. sports The RBC players have returned to the Aimé-Césaire gymnasium in Riom, which has a surface allowing the installation of nine pitches. Thirty-six players can evolve at the same time during lessons given by a state-certified coach. As far as adult beginners are concerned, they are supervised by qualified volunteers from the club. The practice of badminton is open to everyone from the age of 5. With 250 licensees and a balanced mix, the club of President Eric Alvarguez is one of the five largest in the department. Eighty of them take part in the various departmental championships and one team evolves in pre-national. From October 4, the club offers an initiation every Tuesday for those interested in practicing badminton.
