Repeat du judo et du jujitsu

The pre-entry of the jujitsu section took place on Tuesday August 30, the day when nearly thirty followers met for a resumption session, placed under the sign of fitness and conviviality.

The Vicomtois Judo Club offers two sections of Jujitsu, an art based on striking, control and self-defense techniques.

Self and opponent control

For adults and teenagers over 13, training takes place on Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. For teens and pre-teens (9/12 years old), lessons take place on Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

From the white belt to the black belt, the jujitsukas find themselves around this martial art based on the learning of defense techniques against attacks with a knife, truncheon, stick, saber but also with bare hands, as well as learning kicking and punching techniques, techniques for taking to the ground and controlling a potential aggressor.

Jujitsu is a defense method based on self and opponent control.

It is also a combat sport where you can practice fighting jujitsu which is a regulated fight divided into three parts: kicks and punches, projections then control on the ground. It allows the techniques learned to be put into practice and is practiced with protections (gloves, mittens, foot guards and shin guards).

The fighting, him, allows to be confronted with a situation of opposition vis-a-vis a partner who reacts. It is practiced with a partner in a good spirit. It’s not a free fight where anything goes. Every fighter must keep in mind not to hurt his opponent.

A 100% female section

Proposed as a martial art, a real method of defense to improve all physical and mental qualities, jujitsu is now very popular among adults and young people over 9 years old.

To discover this sport, the Thursday lesson allows parents to practice with pre-teens and teenagers, in the form of a privileged moment.

Free trial sessions are offered from September 8 (a kimono will be lent to you by the club).

A 100% female self-defense section is offered for teenagers over 13 and adults with classes on Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (free trials). It is practiced in sportswear.
