Reasons why 3 Arsenal stars were not called up to the Brazilian national team, Liverpool and United donated 6 players

BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID – Three Arsenal stars were not called up to Brazil’s national team in preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Liverpool and Man United contributed 6 players.

Brazil coach Tite has announced the Brazil squad for their friendly match in preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

However, three Arsenal players were not included in Brazil’s latest squad for the friendly ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Arsenal trio Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Jesus have all been left out of the Brazil squad ahead of their friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia later this month.

All three were part of the Brazil squad in June for their friendlies against South Korea and Japan.

Center back Gabriel did not feature in both games due to a thigh injury and is yet to receive his first senior cap.

Jesus and Martinelli have both impressed for the Gunners so far this season, with the first to score twice and provide two assists since his move from Manchester City in the summer.

But neither of the three will feature for Brazil for their last two games before the 2022 World Cup kicks off in November.

Tite has explained why Jesus was left out after he named his 25 players for the match.

“Gabriel Jesus, in particular, is having fun and is in the fight. Of course, yes,” Tite said as quoted by the Mirror, Saturday (10/9/2022).
