The Chuquisaca judoka Alejandro Zamudio went viral at the beginning of this September when he started selling sandwiches in order to raise the money he needed to travel to Peru to represent Bolivia in the Pan American Judo Open.

It happened that when Zamudio went to the authorities who were obliged to collaborate with him, because, in the end, he was going to represent the country, they gave him Bs 500.
After his story “went viral”, many people went to buy him sandwiches, or to give him financial aid, and, in this way, the athlete collected what he needed to travel to compete.

Perhaps the story would have ended there, but it turns out that some “memero” took advantage of the situation and made a graph in which Albertina Sacaca is seen with the legend “more than 8 million support this USELESS tiktoker that charges 1,000 dollars” and, Next to it, there is a photo of Alejandro on which it can be read “athletic champion sells sandwich to pay for his expenses in sports competitions”. And so, the girl from the north of Potosí with the most followers in Bolivia was once again the victim of an attack.

What is noticed, again, in the theme of Albertina is envy. “More than 8 million support this USELESS…” is an obvious lament from someone who will never be able to have at least a tenth of the tiktoker’s followers. The “memero” is hurt by that reality and reacts by calling it USELESS, with capital letters.

Alejandro’s situation is clear: he needed $1,100 to travel and Albertina cannot forgive him for trying to charge $1,000 for an advertisement. Until now, it is known that it was an attempt, since it is unknown if he ever collected that amount. Precisely the first time they attacked her it was because of that, as if she had no right to charge the amount she wants for her advertising services, an amount that, moreover, is low in relation to those charged by “tiktokers” of other countries that don’t even reach a million followers.

In Alejandro’s case, the bottom line is that they have offered him 500 lucas when there are declared leaders on commission who earn up to 40,000 bolivianos (about 6,000 dollars) without doing anything. That is an injustice.

On Albertina’s side, there is not only envy but also an undisguisable racism that became evident in Warnes, when a journalist, with an abundance of sarcasm, asked her if she had been paid in dollars for participating in the exhibition and then told her that she It would help to count the money.

Why is there hostility with Albertina Sacaca and not with the “bucket swallower” leaders? Because the indigenous girl is not forgiven her origin and many people feel uncomfortable with the color of her skin. Others can earn thousands, and even steal, like politicians, and no one will give them a bad time, nor will they make offensive memes, because they are neither Indian nor so dark. That is the mother of the lamb in this country.
