Judo classes have resumed in Picauville and Sainte-Mère-Eglise. Children can practice from the age of 3 with baby judo lessons, which develop motor skills and coordination.

“Last year we had several champions at La Manche level,” explains the president of the club, Christophe Brzezinski. His daughter Zia was La Manche champion and 3e at the Normandy Championships. “Members can compete if they want but it’s not compulsory, we can just come and practice judo!” »

The club also offers taïso classes, a Japanese exercise method, which prepares for the practice of judo. For newcomers, the first two taiso or judo sessions are free and the club offers a reduction from two registrations per family.

In Picauville, judo lessons take place on Wednesdays, in the judo room at the stadium, from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Taiso takes place from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.; Friday ; judo for adults, from 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays as well.

In Sainte-Mère-Eglise, taïso classes take place in the gymnasium, from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; judo lessons take place from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The general meeting of the club will take place on Friday, September 30, at 8:15 p.m., in the judo room in Picauville.
