During the weekend at the foot of the Riga Radio and Television Tower in Zaķusala, the enduro moto competition “Red Bull Rough Ride” took place for the second year in a row, in which the Spaniard Jose Garcia won.

“Red Bull Rough Ride” is a competition with a unique concept, which is distinguished from other enduro events by specially designed obstacles made of sand, stones, and logs, which make the track configuration exciting for both the participants and the fans.
As part of the sunny day, “Red Bull Rough Ride” also saw the return of other participants from last year, as well as new faces. It is significant that the track seemed longer to the riders than last year, although in reality it was shorter – true, also more complicated.
Just like a year ago, Jose Garcia from “Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team” climbed to the top step of the “Pro” class podium in 2022 as well. He was followed by Andris Grínfelds, Miks Rasmanis and Kristaps Kīlis. The Spanish motor sportsman Garcia called the “pool” section of the track the most challenging this year, the splashes of which made the beams “slick as ice”.
In the amateur class, Andis Vītoliņš achieved success, dividing the remaining places on the podium between Jānis Jēgers and Renārs Drezis.
