Like him, Ian Poulter, Talor Gooch and Hudson Swafford have imitated Pat Perez, Abraham Ancer, Carlos Ortiz and Jason Kokrak in dropping the moves, as ESPN reported on Tuesday. Mickelson had joined the plaintiff on August 27; it believes that the PGA unfairly suspended players who tried their luck in the LIV organization and engaged in unfair competition.

“I haven’t done anything yet, except that the LIV is now involved in the cause and it is therefore no longer necessary for me to be a part of it,” Mickelson said a dozen days ago. I’m still in pursuit, but I don’t really know what I’ll do. The only reason to stay there is the damage. However, I don’t really need anything.”

Besides the LIV circuit, Bryson DeChambeau, Peter Uihlein and Matt Jones are still involved in the legal proceedings.
