Varese Basketball chooses the heart of the Garden City to introduce themselves to their supporters and launch the new Serie A championship. The red and white club makes an appointment in piazza Montegrappa on Monday 26 September (from 7 pm) for an evening between sport and entertainment under the direction of “We are basketball”, the fans’ trust that supports the club for this kind of event and has just renewed its board of directors.
The presentation of the team will be entrusted to Margherita Zanatta, TV and radio host but also daughter of Marino, the famous “Zago” who with the great Ignis won four championships and as many Champions Cups and who for several seasons was GM and president during the years in which Toto Bulgheroni was the owner. With Margherita there will be the sports journalist Francesco Pierantozzi and Ulisse Cervini, very young fan and member of the trust.
From a musical point of view, the dj set will be curated by Tommaso Giana while on the square there will be an exhibition of the Varese Dance Crew Basketball, the corps de ballet that performs in Masnago during league matches.
