Giorgio Chiellini fairly successful in Juventus with many titles won. However, Chiellini has one regret.
Chiellini strengthened Juventus in 2004-2022. During the Bianconeri uniform, Chiellini won a total of 19 titles.
However, among these titles, there is no Champions League trophy. Chiellini has only been runner-up twice in 2014/2015 and 2016/2017.
The 2014/2015 Champions League final against Barcelona left Chiellini regretful. He couldn’t play because of a calf injury in training three days before the final.
Juventus ultimately lost 1-3 to Barcelona in the Champions League final. Juventus also failed to realize ambition treble winners.
“My biggest regret with Juventus is that I didn’t play in the Champions League final in Berlin because of an injury,” Chiellini said Football Italia.
“Given everything I did that season, I felt I deserved to play in that game.”
“If the greatest happiness is our first Scudetto because it was very unexpected,” said Chiellini who is now strengthening Los Angeles FC.
