Clinics have adapted Omikron vaccine in use at all three locations
Hochtaunus – The new corona vaccine, adapted to the Omicron variant, is now available in the vaccination center of the Hochtaunus clinics. Interested parties can get their second booster vaccination at all three locations (Bad Homburg, Königstein and Usingen) with the vaccines from BioNTech/Pfizer and Moderna that have been adapted to the BA.1 variant. This was announced by the clinic. A booster with an adapted vaccine should produce significantly more antibodies and thus protect the organism better. The Stiko recommends a further booster vaccination for people over 60 and those at risk. Interested parties over the age of twelve can get vaccinated at the three locations. Children under the age of twelve are only vaccinated at the Bad Homburg vaccination center (Am Grünen Weg 1, 61352 Bad Homburg) – on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the vaccination center in Bad Homburg offers vaccinations against monkeypox every Thursday evening.
