Novak Djokovic thanks Roger Federer: ‘It’s hard to describe in words’ | Tennis

“Roger, it is difficult to describe in words what we have shared in this sport,” the Serb said on Instagram. “It’s more than a decade of incredible moments and fights that we can look back on.”

Djokovic and Federer faced each other fifty times. The last major final was at Wimbledon in 2019. The Serb then won in five sets after Federer missed two game points. “It is an honor to know you on and off the track. I know this next chapter has wonderful things in store for you, Mirka, the kids, all your loved ones and fans.”

Federer will say goodbye to the Laver Cup in London next week. Djokovic is also there. “I look forward to seeing you in London and reflecting on your achievements.”
