NFL: Tom Brady played an offensive streak in a 27-10 loss to the Buccaneers

Tom Brady completed six of eight passes for 44 yards in his official debut for the 2022 season on Saturday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 27-10 to the Indianapolis Colts.

The 45-year-old veteran had still not played a preseason game since the start of his team’s training camp. The quarterback therefore made his debut in Tampa’s third and final preseason game. Brady’s only offensive streak in that game ended with a 30-yard field goal from Ryan Succop.

On the Colts side, veterans Matt Ryan and Nick Foles also walked the field, but it was rookie quarterback Sam Ehlinger who stood out. The former University of Texas scored a superb touchdown on a 45-yard run.

Running backs Ke’Shawn Vaughn of the Bucs and Philip Lindsay of the Colts also found the pay zone in this game.

Tampa Bay ends its preseason schedule with an 0-3 record. Tampa will start its season with a duel against the Dallas Cowboys in the classic Sunday night game. The Colts have an appointment with the Houston Texans.
