New York signe Ryan Archdeacon

Ryan Archdeacon has reached an agreement with the Knicks for a probably unguaranteed contract which will be synonymous with ‘come and prove yourself at training camp’ for the 28-year-old, 1.91m Italian-American, who passed through Chicago (4 years old) and the G League.

It’s a comeback for the Big Apple as the fullback played 10 games (average 7.6 minutes) there last year after signing there for the rest of the season on two 10-day deals in February .

NCAA champion with Villanova – where he did a full course – in 2016, he will compete with Jean Montero, Garrison Brooks and DaQuan Jeffries, all signed via Exhibit 10 deals. The Knicks have 10 players under standard contracts.
