ABU DHABI, UAE, September 22, 2022 / PRNewswire / – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) today announced that the “NBA District,” an immersive and interactive event for fans in collaboration with NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022, will be held at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi from Thursday 6 October to Sunday 9 October.
NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022 will see the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks, 2021 NBA champions, play two pre-season games at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on Thursday 6 October and Saturday 8 October at 8pm GST, events that mark the first games of the League in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and in the Arabian Gulf.
Ideal for both game watchers and regional visitors, the NBA District will feature music, media and art associated with NBA culture. Fans will be able to connect with NBA personalities from around the world, watch authentic NBA game play, enjoy live basketball activities and purchase limited edition NBA merchandise.

The “NBA Ice Buckets” pop-up court will allow fans to compete in a thrilling basketball game for a chance to win NBA awards.
The NBA District one-day ticket costs AED 55, while the five-day ticket costs AED 215.
